As FCG continues to grow as an organization, we are building a network of professionals all around the country.
FCG is proud of the services we offer to our alumni. Building off of the work of several past Executive Board administrations, our services range from special events catered specifically for alumni members to a quarterly newsletter, through which we aim to ensure that graduation does not signal the end of your involvement.
At the beginning of each project cycle, we introduce our alumni consultants to the teams, the projects they are working on, and what the team hopes to accomplish with their work. Upon completion of each semester, the project teams summarize how they helped their community and what skills and experiences they gained in the process.
FCG is proud to introduce the creation of a series of alumni events. First, alumni guest speakers are encouraged and welcome to come and speak about their current work experiences, what they gained from FCG and the continuing impact they make in their current professional roles.
Additionally, FCG will host an Alumni Tailgate before a soon-to-be-announced football game. Refreshments and food will be provided as well as a shuttle service to the game itself. To receive updates on this event, please leave your information below. We hope to see you there!
Through a new initiative called Connections, Alumni visiting Charlottesville are encouraged to participate in Coffee Chats with current members of the FCG Exec team. Connect with current FCG members, share wisdom, and enjoy a number of local Charlottesville coffee shops courtesy of FCG! We want to hear from our Alumni on a personal level. Larger groups can organize dinners as well.
FCG Consulting has long depended on financial support from the Batten School, but in our goal of serving the Charlottesville community independently, we are looking to move towards Alumni Donations as a source of funding. We are able to match donations from your company as well. A donation of $200 will serve a project team for a semester, and if your company matches a $500 donation, you can provide professional development events for all of FCG for a year!
